Index G has officially announced the launch of the Kenya Esports Series, marking an important milestone for competitive gaming in the country. The inaugural edition, titled the Capital Series, will take place in Nairobi City, bringing together players and fans for a high-energy esports showcase.
The tournament is scheduled to run from January 31 to February 1, 2026, at the Police Sacco Stadium, with activities kicking off daily at 9:00 a.m. The event will feature three popular football esports titles: eFootball Mobile, FC Mobile, and EA FC 26, catering to both mobile and console competitors.
The eFootball Mobile competition will be held on January 31, while EA FC 26 will take center stage on February 1, 2026. Registration fees have been set to ensure accessibility for players, with EA FC 26 priced at KES 300, and FC Mobile and eFootball Mobile at KES 100 each.
The Kenya Esports Series is supported by a strong lineup of partners, including 82 Sports, the Esports Kenya Federation, and AOC Gaming, who will serve as the Official Monitor Partner for the event.
With the launch of the Capital Series, Index G aims to strengthen Kenya’s esports ecosystem by providing structured competition, fostering local talent, and creating new opportunities for players to compete in a professional environment.
