As the coronavirus pandemic continues to spread, it has forced the esports industry to cancel, postponed or convert activities to online. As a result, there has been an increase in online and mobile gaming most especially since many countries have declared a stay home policy.
In Zambia, southern Africa, Team Gematrix is encouraging esports stakeholders to stay home and game by hosting a play from home Call Of Duty Mobile tournament. The event tagged Gematrix COD Mobile Series is an online tournament that features teams battling it out in a Domination mode 3v3.
The event will take place April 4th, 2020 14:00 CAT. Registration closes April 2nd, 2020 and brackets will be released April 3rd, 2020
